BEIJING: The Foreign Ministry says China will offer $1 million in cash to the Palestinians for emergency humanitarian aid after relentless Israeli air attacks killed more than 370 people in Gaza.
Ministry spokesman Qin Gang says in a Tuesday statement that China urges all sides to "immediately halt armed conflict" and adopt measures to relieve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
No other details were given in the statement.
More than 370 Palestinians have been killed since the Israeli air onslaught against Gaza's Islamic Hamas rulers began Saturday shortly after a rocky, six-month truce expired.
